Welcome to the Market Intelligence and Innovation Implementation Group pages.

Having developed my own business from a one man operation into a successful reality, employing 30 people, I have learnt that using market intelligence and fostering innovation can deliver huge advantages for a business. Scottish tourism needs to stay ahead of the game if we are to achieve our joint ambition of 50% growth by 2015. We recognise that it is an ambitious target but more than achievable if we work together, collaborate and respond to our customers’ expectations to deliver innovative holiday experiences.

The aim of this group is help all tourism businesses grow by being truly innovative and making best use of the extensive market intelligence available to us. Innovation is something the Scots are renowned for worldwide and we should be proud to celebrate the success of innovative leaders and entrepreneurs in our industry. Whether you are a new activity provider offering a unique experience or an established hotelier looking to develop an alternative style of accommodation for the modern traveller – you have a part to play and we want to hear about it. We can all learn from each other and should not be afraid to share ideas in order to raise our game and compete locally, nationally and internationally. Please play your part in this work by using this website and feel free to contact us at tffc@stf.co.uk
