Welcome to the Customer Experience Implementation Group pages.
As a tourism professional with many years’ experience, I am committed to delivering the very best experiences we can to our visitors.
The customer’s experience is at the very heart of Scottish tourism and I want to see us succeed in making Scotland a must-see, must-return destination - for the benefit of us all. To compete on the world stage we need to exceed our visitors’ expectations. To do that, we need to encourage more tourism operators to make quality the cornerstone of their business. That should mean becoming quality assured, improving skills in management and leadership, improving workforce skills, recruiting staff with the right attitude - and keeping them! We need people with enthusiasm, passion and motivation working in tourism and hospitality and in return, the sector offers a wide range of careers from wildlife guide to top hotel manager.
